Miwok Medicine W.R.

Mi chuk sis! The purpose of this blog at this point in time is to provide medicine in a healthy positive way. The medicine however may be received as bitter by some, but it is meant to bring health and vitality to the group.

We have newsletter but we don't really have our own newspaper. I'd like to request some of you give this serious consideration. We now have a tremendous opportunity in front of us with millions and millions at stake but more importantly the potential to either achieve freedom and independence or a situation where everything is spent and exhausted and the elders and the children and the future is lost due to mismanagement and poor decision.

This is an interesting article about the role that a people's voice has to play through the press and other avenues.

How Native American Tribal Papers Are Forging a Path to Press Freedom

There are many things to discuss now but as I heard and what has been said there are some things to consider this week, then there will be many more questions about various topics and activities and decisions that are being made. Let's start with a few then we can expand. It seems it is past the time we should have woken up and taken action to bring health to our tribe, yet here we are, and we can still bring strength and health to our tribe with strong minds and good will.

Thehm mee koh mah wung i (Thank you very much).
